Notice

The nine pieces grouped together in 2019 under the name Impromptus are for the most part, as the title suggests, derived from improvisations on a Midi keyboard, then transcribed and more or less retouched. Only the last two, a little longer than the others, were written down. In succession: Exclamations, Éclaircie, Affirmations, Lutte, Jardin zen, Tension, Révolte, Aurore and Combat. Aurore is based on a transcription of a lark song that has been slowed down 40 times to make its combination of slow motifs and ultra-fast strokes perceptible. As for the last piece, the longest, it is linked in my imagination to the three nocturnal battles painted by Paolo Uccello.
